Purchases made through Google Shopping display as a typical order within your UltraCart account. Status updates, including tracking information, are pushed back up to Google Shopping when an order has been processed and ships.
Step 1 – Enable the "Buy on Google" functionality
Within Google Merchant Center, you will need to enable the "Buy on Google" functionality. On the left-hand menu, click on Growth → Manage Programs. Click on the "Get Started" for Buy on Google.
Step 2 – Link to UltraCart (through PayPal)
Scroll down and click "Link your online payment solution account". Click on PayPal and then click Link Account. Agree and approve Google Merchant Center using your PayPal account to process payments.
Step 3 – Authorize for payment processing
Fill out PayPal information and allow PayPal to connect your account to Google LLC. Authorize and select the payment mechanism you want to use to pay Google.
Step 4 – Verify information and request account review
After connecting PayPal, submit your business credentials for review and approval.
The UltraCart Developer Account provides you with a sandbox to quickly and easily move forward without the typical account sharing roadblocks. StoreFronts within the developer account must remain locked until they are pushed to an active UltraCart account or the developer account is changed to a paid account.
